686 Lead-Free Nickel-free White bronze Alloy Plating Process

The Process features:

1. We fully use food grade raw materials, special organic substances and surfactants, absolutely without lead and toxic..

2.Plating layer is silvery, more bright than common white Cu-Sn alloy which is with lead..

3 The lead content in the plating layer can fully pass the WAL-MART required test by Niton XL3t seris amalyzers, not common white Cu-Sn alloy process can do that.

4. Operative temperature is very wide from 35°C-60°C, no need to use cooling machine, save some machine and electric charge.

5. The current efficiency is 25% higher than common white Cu-Sn alloy process which is with heavy metal. But we can get the same thickenss by reducing 20% plating time, 30% cathode current density. It improves current efficiency well and save production cost.

6. Operation range of the additives is wide. Only need to add additives for each 3-4 hour normal production, easy to maintan.

Equipment

Plating bath: PP, PE temperature-resistant material

Heating: stainless steel electroprobe + thermostat control

Power source: 12V DC stabilizer (voltage and current)

Make-up Method

The following steps are make-up order( base on 1 litre bath)

1. use deionized water to clean the bath tank

2. fill 50% (by volume) deionized water, add 200 ml/l 666C make-up agent.

3.add 48g/l sodium cyanide(purity:98~99%) and 16g/l superior & industrial grade potassium hydroxide, agitate to completely dissolve.

4.add 10g/l cuprous cyanide, 38g/l 666 tin salt and 0.6g/l zinc cyanide, agitate to completely dissolve.

5.add deionized water to required volume.

6. continuous filter until bath solution become clarified and witout turbidity.

7. heat to 50°C and electrolyse for 1~2 hours.

8.add 30ml 666A brightener,15ml 666B auxiliary agent, then heat and agitate for 2~3 hours, after that you can take a trial plating.

Features: bright and low porosity plating layer, wearable and corrosion resistant capability.

Adding 1 g cuprous cyanide will improve copper content by 0.7 g/L.

2. Adding 2.8 g 666 tin salt will improve tin content by 1g/L.
